OK, so what can you expect to spend? The national average is $250 to $300 per page (don't worry, Kelso Web Services charges way under that). That is an average so one cannot just say, "Give me four page for $1,000." Doesn't work that way. Some pages will take days (or even weeks) to develop due to their complexity. Some pages can be finished in a few hours. Sometimes it takes many days to get the right look and feel for a site. Do you have graphics that will need to be processed? A lot of detailed item descriptions and pricing? How about email and credit card processing? All these things and more are going to affect the cost.

When we get together, we will be asking questions. A lot of questions. We will listen to what you have to say. We will look over all your printed material (and would like to take copies with us). We will come to an initial understanding and Kelso Web Services will mockup a site to show what the final product will look like (the mockup will only have a few pages). That might take us a week or so. Then we will get back together and talk turkey. You will make suggestions and Kelso Web Services will agree with them (sometimes we might argue the point but as long as what you want is legal, you're the boss).

Kelso Web Services will then present you with a proposal that will include design details, a time schedule, a fixed-price estimate (that means you know what it will really cost you up front), and a contract. Then it is up to you.

Assuming that we come to an agreement, Kelso Web Services will begin work according to the schedule. At regular intervals we will be checking with you to make sure that you approve of what is being done. If you decide to make changes to the basic design (and that does not mean minor things like font color), then we will negotiate a "Change Request" with new time schedules and price.
