Kelso Web Services doesn't just design web sites, we develop them. That means that we do the HTML, ASP, and JavaScript coding that goes behind the scenes of your web site (you can see some but not all of this by using the "View Source" option of your browser). Development also includes such things as databases, shopping carts, and e-mail.

We primarily use Microsoft Access as our back-end database but can also use SQL Server 2000 and MySQL. A database can contain information about items that you sell, contact information, illustrations, or just about anything that can be stored electronically. We frequently use a database to control access to sections of a web site, with user-names and passwords, that the general public does not get to see.

We use the EasyCart shopping cart software from EasyToShop. We can set-up a complete on-line shopping catalog for you with secured ordering. To see a demonstration of EasyCart, click here.

Using e-mail should be easy. We provide you with the tools to have both web-based e-mail and POP2/SMTP through Ipswitch's iMail version 7. With this you can directly log on to your e-mail account from any Internet PC in the world. You can also configure your e-mail software (Outlook, Eudora, Netscape, etc.) to connect to your account. The iMail system allows you to set up your own e-mail forwarding, holiday messages, and even e-mail lists!
